Our services.

  • Preventative Care

For active and older dogs, overall fitness, flexibility, and joint health are crucial. Strength exercises and stretches are used to prevent injuries and reduce age-related decline.

  • Pre- and Post-Surgery Rehabilitation

Recovery after orthopedic or soft-tissue procedures can be taxing on our pets. Exercise routines prepare the body for quick recovery, and to restore range of motion, strength, and function post-operation.

  • Pain Management

The implementation of massage, stretching, and strengthening exercises are used to manage chronic pain or discomfort from conditions like arthritis, hip dysplasia, or other musculoskeletal issues.

  • Assistive Devices

Some pets may require assistive devices, such as wheelchairs or braces, to move comfortably. It is important for pet owners to be aware of what devices are available and what may be most appropriate.

  • Mobility Training

Good mobility isn’t just for athletes! As our pets age, they may need extra help with walking, climbing stairs, and jumping. Targeted training can help to keep them moving safely and efficiently, and can also benefit those with injuries or neurological conditions.

  • Laser Treatments

While laser therapy sounds “high tech”, it is an effective method of reducing chronic and acute pain, as well as swelling and inflammation. Laser therapy can also accelerate healing from soft tissue injuries and alleviate stiffness related to arthritis.

  • Electrical Stimulation

As in humans, neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) have proven to be effective treatments in other animals. NMES is most useful for animals who need muscle strengthening and recovery, while TENS is helpful for pain management.
